Cujamaa hbcu extravacadza competition

HBCU ExtravaCADza - 2025

The Cujamaa HBCU ExtravaCADza Competition is an eight-week intercollegiate 3D CAD product development competition conducted during  Summer 2025, sponsored, in part, by software providers PTC Onshape and Altium 365.  


Competitors will receive coaching and mentorship from industry thought leaders and experts in design and product development techniques before applying those innovative practices to each of several design challenges.


Participation benefits include:

  • Free access to PTC's cloud-native CAD/PDM software
  • Free access to Altium's 365 cloud-native ECAD software
  • Learning design techniques and teamwork processes, valued by employers, from Thought Leader Coaches

  • NOTE: The competition is designed so that it shouldn't interfere with summer classes or employment, nor is prior CAD tool experience required.
